Ο δεξαμενισμός δεν ξεκινάει όταν το πλοίο μπει στη δεξαμενή — ξεκινάει 48 ώρες νωρίτερα. Αυτά είναι τα σημεία που ελέγχουμε πριν ξεκινήσει οτιδήποτε.

A dry-docking doesn't start when the vessel enters the dock — it starts 48 hours earlier. These are the checkpoints we verify before anything begins.

  • Έχει εγκριθεί το Coating Specification από τον πλοιοκτήτη και τον κατασκευαστή χρωμάτων;
  • Has the Coating Specification been approved by the shipowner and paint manufacturer?
  • Είναι διαθέσιμα τα Technical Data Sheets για όλα τα προϊόντα;
  • Are Technical Data Sheets available for all products?
  • Έχει οριστεί NDFT ανά περιοχή (γάστρα, boottopping, topside, ballast tanks);
  • Has NDFT per area been defined (hull, boottopping, topside, ballast tanks)?
  • Έχει επιβεβαιωθεί η συμβατότητα νέου coating με το υπάρχον (overcoating intervals);
  • Has compatibility of new coating with existing system been confirmed (overcoating intervals)?

  • Έχει παραληφθεί το paint material στο ναυπηγείο; Έχουν ελεγχθεί batch numbers;
  • Has paint material been received at the yard? Have batch numbers been checked?
  • Ποιες είναι οι κλιματικές προβλέψεις για τις ημέρες των εργασιών;
  • What are the weather forecasts for the work days?
Rule of thumb: Rule of thumb: Κάθε πρόβλημα που εντοπίζεται 48 ώρες νωρίτερα κοστίζει 10x λιγότερο από το ίδιο πρόβλημα που εντοπίζεται αφού έχει αρχίσει η εφαρμογή. Every problem identified 48 hours early costs 10x less than the same problem found after application has begun.
